Costs & hours

Trunk Bay’s standard published amenity fee is $5 per person age 16 and over; NPS lists $2.50 for Interagency Senior or Access pass holders. It is charged sunrise to sunset, including park entrance fee-free days. This is the fee period, not verified gate or concession hours. NPS’s dated October 1, 2026 notice says Trunk Bay accepts card and mobile payments only. Plan for those methods and confirm arrangements before travel. Actual opening and water conditions are unconfirmed.

NPS also retains an older cash-accepted pass sentence on this page. The advice here follows its dated October 1 Trunk Bay notice; confirm payment arrangements before travel.

Beaches

Jumbie Beach

Jumbie Bay is a small North Shore cove in Virgin Islands National Park, between Hawksnest and Trunk Bay. A short path from a limited roadside lot leads to a compact sandy shoreline with beach rock at center and no facilities beyond park trash cans. Trade winds can chop the water; calmer days are better for a quick snorkel around the rocks. Bring everything you need and expect tight parking.
