Privacy at VibeVI

What is measured

Anonymous page views are limited to the homepage, island, category, listing, search, guide, events, water-roadmap, ferry, cruise-day, concierge, My day, and Worlds routes. VibeVI also counts search outcomes, official-site and business CTA clicks, discovery-to-listing clicks, accepted place saves, opened comparisons, and successfully copied collection links. These counters use only fixed public classifications, such as the discovery surface or a comparison size of one to three places. VibeVI adds no visitor identifier or cross-session tracking. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control opt-outs suppress this measurement.

What is not measured

Analytics does not receive names, email addresses, phone numbers, search terms, inquiry text, form contents, requested dates, group size, GPS coordinates, business names, external destination URLs, or concierge conversation content. Query strings and page fragments are removed before any accepted page view is sent.

Water-roadmap stop choices and copied captain briefs stay in the browser. VibeVI does not save, send, or add them to analytics.

Your saved day

My day stores your selected listing identifiers, island, order, and any transport or return notes in this browser's local storage. These notes are not sent to our server or analytics. Saved selections stay here unless you choose to open a comparison or share a collection. Clear your day in My day, or clear this site's browser data, to remove them. If storage is unavailable, your selections last only for the current page session.

Comparison and collection links contain only the island and public listing identifiers, including their chosen order. Opening one sends those identifiers to our server to retrieve current public details; they are not included in analytics. Anyone with a collection link can see its places. Links exclude transport preferences, return deadlines, private notes, contact details, precise personal location and Kai conversations. Opening a shared collection does not replace your saved day; importing requires your confirmation. Copying a link alone does not send a message to anyone.

Choosing a Kai planning link opens the named public listing and island as context. Your private notes and saved collection are not included; Kai processes a request only when you send it.

How Kai processes a request

Kai sends the request through a private server endpoint to build a response from the same directory you can browse yourself. VibeVI does not add the request text to analytics, an account, local storage, or its own database in this release.

VibeVI's server-side AI provider is currently Anthropic. When AI interpretation or grounded answer composition is enabled, VibeVI sends your current question and the typed planning details it has derived from the conversation (such as island, group, and stated constraints) to Anthropic. The current question is used to interpret the request or compose the answer. In selector-only mode, Anthropic receives the typed planning details and supplied candidate cards, but not your raw question; it can rank those candidates and choose answer components, but it does not write the visitor-facing answer. Earlier messages in a conversation are never sent as raw text. Every place Kai recommends comes from the directory itself, not from the AI provider.

Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, inputs and outputs are not used to train models by default, and standard API traffic is generally retained for up to 30 days for trust-and-safety purposes unless a stricter arrangement applies to the account; content flagged for policy enforcement can be retained longer. VibeVI itself still persists and logs none of this content. Do not include sensitive personal information in a concierge request.

Business submissions and listing claims

When someone intentionally submits a business or listing-claim form, VibeVI stores the submitted contact details, the exact listing identity, and the review context in its private Supabase database. That information is used for human review and follow-up. It is not published, added to analytics, or treated as proof of ownership.

Do not submit passwords, payment details, or identity documents. To correct or remove a business-intake submission, email vibe@myvibevi.com.

Aggregate reporting

Reports are available only in VibeVI's private Vercel project. Vercel may derive anonymous coarse geography for aggregate service reporting; VibeVI does not request precise location or include geography in its operating report.

Vercel uses an anonymous request hash to count visitors and discards that visitor session after 24 hours. Aggregate reports follow Vercel's existing reporting window; that window is not a promise that all aggregate data is deleted when it ends. VibeVI keeps no separate visitor history or analytics database.
