A wooden boardwalk on the water in Christiansted, with harbor views over moored boats and shops and restaurants along it, including Brew STX and Shupe's. The wharf here is the center of the seven-acre Christiansted National Historic Site, which takes in Fort Christiansvaern and the Danish Customs House.

Buck Island Reef National Monument

Buck Island Reef National Monument off St. Croix combines an underwater snorkeling trail and elkhorn-coral reefs with beaches and dry-forest trails on a 176-acre island. It is reached only by boat, with concession trips from Christiansted Wharf or Green Cay Marina. Ask whether your chosen trip includes the water or land activities you want.

The easternmost point of the United States, on St. Croix, named in 1968 for Interior Secretary Stewart Udall. The Millennium Monument, a large stone sundial built in 2000, stands overlooking the Caribbean Sea at the end of a narrow winding road.

Prosperity Farm Distillery

A distillery that opened in June 2025 on the historic Estate Prosperity in Frederiksted, across the road from Rainbow Beach. Sugar cane is cut and milled on the farm each morning, then distilled on site in Vendome copper pot stills. Guided tours cross the fields.
