What the classic days look like
Published St. Thomas East End itineraries may include Christmas Cove, nearby cays, or a St. John stop. Cruz Bay departures may cover St. John's edges, while Christiansted-side operators may offer authorized Buck Island access. High season (December–April) and holiday weeks: as soon as your dates are firm — small boats sell out weeks ahead. Off-season, days ahead usually works.
Do charters run on cruise-day schedules?
Several St. Thomas operators time trips to ship calls. Confirm the return margin explicitly and keep your own hour of buffer at the pier.
What should I bring?
Reef-safe sunscreen, a hat that ties, a dry bag for phones, cash for tips, and less stuff than you think. Most boats cover gear, ice, and water.
